Tim Hazell
Founder & CEO, Spark Ventures Group
Tim Hazell is the Founder and CEO of Spark Ventures Group, an operator-led company built to create durable value. SVG brings together three connected areas: SparkOps helps businesses buy and manage technology with greater clarity; our RevOps work provides practical revenue leadership and operating discipline; and our portfolio work supports businesses we believe can compound over the long term.
Tim paid his own way through West Chester University of Pennsylvania, studying Business Management. That same drive shaped how he leads Spark Ventures today. With a career spanning family-owned businesses, agile startups, and Fortune 100 giants like Cisco, Tim has spent 25 years building and leading top-performing teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Technology. He has helped businesses of every size build the systems and strategies that deliver sustainable growth, optimize their operations, and maximize every dollar they invest in their business.
Across each area, Tim and the team work alongside owners and executive leaders to strengthen the technology stack, improve financial and operating discipline, support growth, and make better decisions with confidence. The standard is simple: practical advice, clear economics, accountable execution, and relationships built for the long term.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, surfing, skateboarding, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and walking his mini golden retriever Teddy.

First Tee Triangle
Game Changers Council
Spark Ventures Group is a proud supporter of the Game Changers Council (GCC) at First Tee Triangle, a network of professionals in the Triangle area united by a shared passion for golf and empowering youth. The GCC collaborates to create impactful opportunities and drive positive outcomes for young people through the First Tee program. Members help fund scholarships, equipment, and outreach initiatives that serve over 1,800 youth annually across the Triangle region. The GCC raised $67,000 in 2024 alone, a testament to what a committed community can accomplish together.
